What kind of work do you do? Do you work alone or with a group? I read an article recently where the author lamented why she disliked this question so much. She didn’t like explaining that she was a writer as the response received was usually a mixed bag and none really enthusiastic. When people do not understand a person’s work they generally respond negatively. As I reflected on this writer’s complaints I can certainly identify with what she says as I am sure anyone in a creative position can but it is important to recognize that there are no jobs that we truly do alone. We must realize that there are different types of work as much as there are different types of workers.
